The Challenge
Editorial layouts are a density problem. A magazine front page has to carry a lead story, several secondary tiers and category navigation without any of it collapsing into visual noise.
The Solution
React with custom CSS, implemented from a Figma file. The exercise was translating a designer's spacing and hierarchy decisions faithfully into components.
The content is a hardcoded fixture, not a real feed, and the sign-in controls are visual only. A front-end layout study with no backend behind it.
